Workshop presents: "The Arts of Celebration" (7th Annual !) - The public is invited, FREE OF CHARGE, to participate in mask, puppet & costume-making in conjunction with the July 4th Parade. Everyone is welcome, come as you are, we supply everything but your ideas. Located in the ART PARK next to the LaPointe Recreation Center. The public is invited to watch & perhaps help as 20 invited sculptors attempt to wrestle the beauty out of (reveal the beauty in) thousands of items of cast off junk and Tom's personal collection of scrap iron.
Watch the entire process of sculpture making from junk heap to finished work FREE OF CHARGE. Located in the ART PARK next to the LaPointe Recreation Center & at Tom's Burned Down Cafe' & Phoenix Gallery. Workshop -- 10 am to 8 PM every day from July 20 through July 29
This Workshop culminates in a gala reception for the artists & viewing of finished works from 6 PM to 9 PM Saturday July 29. The EXHIBIT of finished works from this workshop will run till the end of the season. Many of the works will be offered for sale by PHOENIX GALLERY.
